I will be the first to say that I am not an elite runner - Kipchoge’s sub 2 hour marathon is safe where it is. But what I am elite in and where I have spent well over 10,000 hours, is using physical exercise to tap into my mindset and then focusing on that mindset to achieve results that I once thought were not possible. Such as running a 100km ultramarathon when I had never run more than 42.2km on the road.
Everyone has a starting point, EVERYONE. And there is always a reason to not start. Can I run 10km if I never have before?
Definitely - sign up to the FIRST 10KM programming. It will take you from no prior running experience to smashing the 10km in just 8 weeks without any time goals or pressures.
What is the TTG Squad?

Can I use RUNM3GA to train for a race?
Definitely!! I wrote RUNM3GA to get you physically and mentally prepared for you to take on a race.
How do I access the TTG App?

What are the best running shoes for a beginnner?
The short answer - go to a running store that knows what they are talking about.
The long answer - the best running shoes are the ones that you feel best wearing. Everyone's feet are different so it is my recommendation that you visit someone who can assess your feet and recommend the shoe that they think will be best for you. If you're in Australia a great store to visit is The Athlete's Foot. Otherwise go to your local running store that stocks a range of brands so there is limited bias. From here, you should choose the shoe that feels most comfortable to you. Keep in mind, we aren't Kipchoge - it's comfort over performance every day of the week; The goal of running is not to run fast, it is to run again.
Can I change my distance after I have started RUNM3GA?
Definitely - the programs are based on your goal time. Simply change your goal time and follow the running paces and splits that are detailed throughout the programs.
Can I actually run a PB that I set in 8-12 Weeks?
You can't argue with results. We have thousands of success stories from different people all around the world. It does not matter your fitness level, if you follow the programs as they are set out and hit all the running paces in training, you will get that PB.
I want to run but have no idea where to start, what do I do?
GREAT! This is my speciality so I have got you covered. Select my FIRST 10KM program and it will show you how to unlock the mindset to keep running when you want to stop, build the strength in your muscles to create a base for your running and progress you from walking to running 10km in the 8 Weeks. It is designed specifically to take a beginner to 10km in 8 weeks, including people who have never run before.
